Hiya! I am Miss Isabella and I am the head tutor in StudyBoost! I lived in the U.K since young age and studied in traditional boarding school. Then I moved to Hong Kong permanently four years ago and started my teaching live! I am competent in keeping up with students' performances by evaluating their strengths and weaknesses from time to time! And I am also well acknowledged of different teaching materials in the education field e.g. Letterland phonics, Oxford reading tree phonics and Usborne children novels. And I believe showing empathy to students is important as it helps build connection, regulate emotion, and promote helping behaviours which is critical in their learning paths.

Hello children! I am Miss Skyla! Currently, I am studying at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I have studied at Maryknoll Convent School throughout my secondary and primary school years.
I understand the frustration of feeling constrained by a curriculum that can sometimes feel repetitive or lacking in excitement, making learning feel like a chore rather than an engaging and rewarding experience.
Thus, I strive to create a supportive and lively learning environment where children can have fun while exploring the English language.
I strongly believe that learning should be an active, hands-on process, so I like to incorporate a variety of interactive activities into my lessons, such as reading stories, practicing vocabulary, and working on grammar concepts. I am passionate about teaching children and supporting them throughout their educational journey!

Miss Simantha.W - Advance Maths teacher (Zoom only)
Hello children! My name is Miss Simantha and Maths has always been my best friend since I was little! I hold an M.Sc in Mathematics for Educators from Nanyang Technological University and a B.Sc in Chemistry and Management from Imperial College London. I completed my GCE A Levels in Oxford, graduating at the top of the cohort with an A* in Mathematics and A's in Chemistry and Physics. Upon graduating, I have moved to Singapore and started tutoring at several learning institutions. My teaching experience include teaching primary and secondary school Mathematics and delivering robotics & coding lessons to students aged 3 to 16 years old. I am also experienced with developing curriculum and conducting workshops.
